SyncTrayzor - Syncthing for Windows with GUI

Update (20 Jan 2026): I think installing this: winget install GermanCoding.SyncTrayzor will just run the gui version and then the installation below is not required. 

I'm too lazy to even set the GUI up... But i should.

Here is a guide on installing and configuring SyncTrayzor:

Installation

1. Download SyncTrayzor: https://github.com/canton7/SyncTrayzor

2. Download Syncthing: https://syncthing.net/downloads/

3. Unzip: Extract the Syncthing folder and move it to your C drive. [00:35]

4. Create a bat file: Create a new text file in the Syncthing folder and name it syncthing.bat. [00:58]

5. Add the following to the file:

start "Syncthing" syncthing.exe -no-console -no-browser

6. Save: Save the file as a batch file. [01:10]

7. Start Syncthing: Double-click on the syncthing.bat file. [01:25]

8. Configure Syncthing: Open your web browser and go to localhost:8384. [01:30]

9. Configure SyncTrayzor: Open SyncTrayzor and go to Settings > Syncthing > Syncthing Path and select the syncthing.exe file in the Syncthing folder.

Configuration

1. Add a folder: Click on the Add Folder button and select the folder you want to sync. [02:10]

2. Add a device: Click on the Add Device button and enter the device ID of the device you want to sync with. [02:15]

3. Share the folder: Select the folder you want to share and click on the Share button.

4. Select the device: Select the device you want to share the folder with and click on the Share button.
